Learning
to keep aware of the situation around you doesn't have to come at the
cost of quality of life. Knowledge is empowering.

and chances of survival in virtually any situation.
Overview of Classes
Situational Awareness 101
The
Situational awareness class starts at 9 am, and lasts three hours.
The first part of the class deals with the nature of threat
itself and how we define and identify threat. We will discuss
ideas to increase personal safety for ourselves and the people we care
about in our own homes, as well as in public, and in our cars
as
we travel. Included are many simple tips and tricks to keep
yourself ahead of the crowd when it comes to dealing with fires,
shootings, natural disasters, and other potentially dangerous events.
Some threats are imagined, and others are very real.
We
will learn to tell the difference. Despite the heavy subject
matter, we will keep the class light and fun. We have
periodic
quizzes for free preparedness gear. At the end of the class,
each
participant recieves a cerficiate of completion to add to a job resume.
General Preparedness 101
The
General Preparedness class starts at 1 PM, and lasts for three hours.
We start by answering the biggest question of general
preparedness for dangerous events, "Should I stay or should I go?".
We will discuss topics that should be addressed if you find
yourself away from home or a familiar location, as well as things you
can do to at home to better weather the oncoming storm. We
will
discuss food storage and longevity, emergency appropriation and
purification of water, communication needs, shelter needs, and discuss
whether weapons are necessary to defend what you have prepared. Despite
the heavy subject matter, we will keep the class light and fun.
We have periodic quizzes for free preparedness gear.
At
the end of the class, each participant recieves a certificate of
completion of the course to add to a job resume.
